Kymble Spriggs is a Consultant Physician, Specialist Allergist and Immunologist, and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne & Royal Melbourne Hospital. Upon his graduation in medicine from the University of Melbourne Medical School in 2000, he worked initially in London and completed a diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene, at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK. In Melbourne, he finished his advanced training in allergy and clinical immunology. He later on completed an additional graduate diploma in clinical education at the University of Melbourne, as well as a Master of Public Health in allergy and immunology epidemiology, clinical trial design and healthcare improvement at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Massachusetts, USA.
Dr Spriggs has an extensive background in the management of immunological diseases, and has a particular interest in allergic rhinitis and asthma, insect venom immunotherapy, and the diagnosis and management of food allergies.
Dr Spriggs is a member of the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. He is also an author of several publications on topics including allergic rhinitis.
