Olga Trusova is a paediatrician who has been working as an allergist since 2000. She has completed a PhD which focused on bronchial hyper-responsiveness in children with bronchial asthma and the factors influencing it. She is currently a lecturer of postgraduate courses at the Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University.
Dr Trusova’s primary research focus is allergen-specific immunotherapy and precise allergy diagnostics. She has recently published papers on topics including sublingual allergen-specific immunotherapy for house dust mite allergy, sublingual allergen-specific immunotherapy for birch pollen allergy, and the method and safety of nasal allergen provocation tests with house dust mite allergen in children with bronchial asthma and allergic rhinitis.
Dr Trusova is a member of the European Respiratory Society, the Russian Respiratory Society and the Association of Paediatric Allergists and Immunologists of Russia. Dr Trusova has more than 70 publications.
